Stay Longer Siem Reap Adventure

Adventure

Adventure in Siem Reap.

You don’t have to travel far from Siem Reap to get a taste of the adventure available in the Cambodian countryside.

OSMOSE: The extraordinary natural and human environment of the Prek Toal area has inspired Osmose’s vision: it is the best asset for the development of local communities. Through its interventions, Osmose initiates, tests, and accompanies new modes of use and sustainable development of local natural resources.

Osmose’s goal is to combine the protection of Prek Toal bird colonies with socio-economic benefits for lake populations. The Osmose approach integrates awareness activities (environmental education) and income-generating activities (ecotourism, crafts) with disadvantaged families, including former bird collectors.

Angkor Zipline: See Angkor differently from the treetops!

Saam Paan Villa: A sunset experience on the Tonle Sap like no other! Cruise out onto the lake on one of Siem Reaps most luxurious yet traditional riverboats. Lay back and enjoy the tranquility as the sun sets over one of Cambodia’s most amazing natural resources.
For an extra cost, you can have your sunset experience catered with food and cocktails.

This experience only runs when the water is high so if visiting in the dry season you will miss out!

Alchemy Movement and Wellness:

Anlong Thom Community-Based Tourism Center: Just two hours away from the Angkor temples, Phnom Kulen is a popular tourism destination in Cambodia. It is an important pilgrimage site for Cambodian people and, along with the jungles surrounding Angkor, one of the few remaining tropical forests in northwest Cambodia.

Every day, hundreds of Cambodian visitors, even thousands during annual celebrations, converge from all over the country to Phnom Kulen, an important pilgrimage site for them. The most famous tourist spots of Kulen are the waterfall, the River of the One Thousand Lingas, the reclining Buddha of Preah Ang Thom, as well as the sandstone elephant of Srah Damrei.

Dozens more temples and rock shelters, some of them dating back as far as the Eighth and Ninth Century, are hard to access today. Day trips from Siem Reap are run by local travel agents but they will only bring you to the waterfall and the River of 1,000 Lingas. To access other sites, you will need the services of the community at Anlong Thom.

This is a wild adventure like no other!

Indochine Exploration: A wide variety of hiking, cycling, and kayaking adventures custom-tailored to your interests and style. Trips run from a few hours to complete holidays. Take in the natural beauty of Cambodia and the remains of the Angkorian civilization hidden in the forest. Charter their boat for sunset cocktails on the Tonle Sap lake.
